BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Tom Cain – President
Tom started six businesses. Three involved apartment investment brokerage, research and publishing, and consulting. Two were associated with commercial fishing. He is currently active in real estate and the commercial fishing industry.
Tom volunteered his time over twenty-five years to a nonprofit real estate research group, and was also on the Estate Planning Advisory Committee at Seattle University.
With gratitude for his realization and ongoing deepening, he is inspired to help make this opportunity available to others.
Gayatri Margaret Schilberg – Secretary
Gayatri has three degrees in economics and is currently an economist, consumer advocate and expert witness in utility cases. She has also been a real estate investor since 1990, focusing on single family rental homes.
Gayatri has been involved with the Waking Down work since 1998, and is committed to making it available to more people.
Pat Keating – Treasurer
Pat works at Cisco as Director of Leadership and Employee Development. Prior to his work at Cisco, Pat served on the faculty at San Jose State in the School of Business.
Pat has been involved with the Waking Down work since 2002. He holds the teaching, the teachers, and the community in great regard for its integrity and commitment to helping each individual find the means of her or his own realization. The Mystery of Mutuality!
Lawrence Bakur – Board Member
Lawrence’s background includes his lifelong quest for wholeness and healing on all levels, his own and that of all humanity. He has a thriving Chiropractic practice in San Diego.
He is passionate about the transformative nature of the Waking Down work, both at the individual and collective level. Lawrence feels a sacred responsibility to provide stewardship and direction within the context of this organization, that others may have the opportunity of coming to know the greater fullness of themselves.
