More and more people are finding their hearts being broken open as the conscious embodiment process ignites around the planet. With the sacred marriage of the Divine and the human, we can experience both the joy of the Divine and the suffering of the world simultaneously in ourselves. The non-separateness that reveals itself in this awakening process often carries with it a fervent connection to others and to the world at large that is profoundly compelling. We hope to have an open discussion of how this is being experienced in the lives of those in our Waking Down community.

After teaching meditation for 17 years, June Konopka came to the Waking Down work in 2000 and had her Second Birth in 2003. In her work as a Waking Down in Mutuality teacher she incorporates Hakomi, which is a body-centered self-study, as well as Shamanic approaches to healing. June also is a nutritionist and works in a holistic addictions treatment center in Loveland, CO. Challenges over the last year, including the loss of her dear husband Tony, have accelerated June’s recognition of the heart-opening that is happening to many around the globe.
Steve Boggs, has also been a meditator and meditation teacher for most of his adult life. His entrance into Waking Down in Mutuality in 2002 opened a deep devotional connection for him with All that IS. To the Beloved as other and as that One all encompassing Being, the world that presents itself is both wondrous and devastating in its beauty and pain. Steve is an Interning Teacher of Waking Down in Mutuality, and lives with his wife Winifred, in Fairfield, Iowa
