About

Founded in 2005 by a group of four teachers of Waking Down in Mutuality at the urging of Saniel Bonder and the entire WDM teaching community, The Institute of Awakened Mutuality (IAM) is a 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization dedicated to:

• Increasing public awareness of the principles of Waking Down in Mutuality, and fostering their visibility and expansion in the world; and
• Presenting courses, workshops and seminars for members of the general public and those interested in becoming mentors and teachers.

The work of Waking Down in Mutuality clearly fosters continuous deepening and integration of the many aspects of an authentic, embodied, conscious life.

These programs are designed to promote the student’s awakening to the full spectrum of their capacities and bring compassion and integrity to the world. The ability to assist the awakening and emotional integration of others is nurtured, preparing students to live in the awakened relationship of Mutuality.

IAM is a recognized body for educating those wanting to become certified as Teachers and Mentors by the Waking Down Teachers Association.
