It’s about awakening to who you are

Waking Down is about awakening to who you are, right now, as both
limited and unbounded. For me, that entailed a free-fall into the
depths of the I/me story, in all its shadowy glory. Considering that I
spent decades pushing away and trying to not be the I/me story, the
Waking Down experience has been a pretty brutal ride.

As for the post-awakening “Wakedown Shakedown”, for me, it’s just more
of the same shit, different day. The difference, though, is that
there’s now an internal spaciousness from knowing myself as both the
story and the unboundedness in which it is unfolding (as opposed to
being bound up in and solely identified as the story.) That gives me
both some comforting distance from the story and the capacity to more
clearly see it and really delve deeply into it. IMO, it’s the perfect
platform from which to do internal work.
